INFANTS

Infants thrive on a consistent routine with loving caregivers. Our program provides that and much more. Our infant teachers love babies and treat each infant in their care like the individual that they are. Our schedule is adaptable and allows each child to have their needs met on their schedule. We take our lead from you, because no one knows your baby like you do.

We keep our infant room clean through daily and weekly cleaning and disinfecting, and by asking that our staff and parents either remove their shoes or place shoe covers over their shoes.

Our infant room is full of age-appropriate toys for all of our babies. Whether your child is 6 weeks and is experiencing care for the first time, or 18 months and almost ready to move up to our Toddler program, they’ll find something fun and exciting to do. Younger infants engage in daily tummy time with our staff, and older infants are encouraged to explore the room both independently and with our staff.

Our feeding and napping routine is unique to each infant, and we want you to be part of the decision making team. We will make every effort to keep your baby on their own personal schedule for naps and feeding, and our Nursing Mother’s Room is available for any parent who wants to stop by for some one on one time during the day. At the end of each day you will get a record of your child’s day, and staff will be available to answer any questions you may have.

The goals for our infant class are to foster a child’s sense of trust, to help build their self-esteem, increase their socialization, increase their cognitive, language, and motor skills through play, and further their overall development through age-appropriate activities and toys.
