Room to explore and grow is what every toddler dreams of, and here at Cornerstone that’s just what they’ll get. Our toddlers learn by exploring and using their senses to build their cognitive, language, motor, and social skills. We encourage your toddler to share and cooperate through play and other group activities, and your child will begin to develop friendships and gain confidence as they use their growing language skills to interact.

Our daily whole group instruction allows toddlers to advance their social skills as well as their fine and gross motor skills, and cognitive abilities through monthly themed units which give children an opportunity to engage in dramatic play, art, music, language, and sensory activities. Your child will be having such a great time playing they won’t even know they’re learning! Our program also allows toddlers a chance to try out their growing independence through free choice of play activities balanced with teacher directed activities to make sure they’re learning.

Routines are still important to toddlers, and to you, and that’s why we follow your lead when it comes to potty training and feeding. We’ll introduce new skills based on your child’s development and after discussing it with you, work with you and your child to help them reach their potential.
